Corwith House

Bridgehampton, New York

Scope

Located in the Village of Bridgehampton, the Corwith House, a Federal/Greek Revival structure, was constructed ca 1825 by William Corwith. The building now serves as a gallery and exhibit space, and as the headquarters for the Bridgehampton Historical Society. The house is listed in the National Register of Historic Places. As good stewards of the property, the Bridgehampton Historical Society enlisted JHPA, Inc. to complete an Historic Structure Report which included a narrative history of the property, and an existing conditions review following NPS guidelines.

The HSR will serve to guide the understanding, preservation, and maintenance of this significant historic structure.
