Scope

The two residential apartment structures, completed in 1910, were designed and detailed in the popular Beaux-arts style. 

JHPA, Inc/JHPArchitects PC has assisted the HDFC board with a variety of projects ranging from the full restoration of the decorative cornice at 29 Convent Avenue, assisting with the restoration of the interior common spaces, preparation of a Reserve Study, and, more recently, construction documents for the first phase of exterior envelope repairs.  JHPA has also assisted with review of proposed unit alterations and upgrades to interior finishes

The JHPA team has worked closely with the HDFC board to develop a phased repair program tailored to fit available funding.  JHPA, Inc. also assisted the board in identifying potential funding sources for larger capitol projects.
