Scope

Designed by artist Melissa McGill, “Constellation” was an environmental sculpture comprising solar powered LED lights within hand blown globes mounted on slender, towering poles, creating a galaxy at night that broight new “light” to Pollepel Island and Bannerman Castle. JHPArchitects PC completed documents and provided supervision to ensure that the introduction of this temporary feature did no harm to the historic fabric on the island.
